Some weddings just have that special feeling, the kind straight out of a movie.
Matt and Taylor’s day felt like that!
Their wedding took place at Taylor’s childhood home on Lake Hollingsworth, a place that’s been in her family for generations. It was the perfect nod to her roots, sentimental, meaningful, and completely them. From the start, they knew they wanted their day to feel intentional, intimate, and full of love, and every detail reflected that beautifully.
The ceremony took place in the front driveway, surrounded by family, friends, and years of memories. It had that Father of the Bride energy, sweet, emotional, and personal in all the best ways.
The weekend kicked off with a Wiffle ball game at Peterson Park (such a fun touch!) and continued with so many thoughtful details, hand-embroidered napkins made by Taylor and her mom for all 150+ guests, and a seating chart created with favorite photos of each person. You could truly feel the heart behind every detail.

After the ceremony, everyone headed downtown for an incredible reception at the Loggia, a local favorite on Lake Mirror. With a full band, good food, and the best company, it turned into one epic night of celebration.
It was such a joy bringing this day to life for Matt and Taylor, from turning a family home into a wedding venue to creating a reception space that perfectly matched their vision. Every part of it felt personal and full of heart.
Featured in The Lakelander and other magazines (and for good reason!) This Lakeland wedding was a day we’ll never forget. A true Central Florida celebration filled with love, laughter, and a touch of nostalgia.
